Dear DonDon,
We'll miss you. We'll miss your laugh and your smile. We'll miss the way you gave grandmama a hard time...and the way she gave it right back to you. We'll miss playing cards with you. We'll miss you calling us by the nickname "Bud" - a term of endearment you used for several family members.
Please watch over grandmama. Try to find a way to let her know you're still with her because we know she must be absolutely devastated and heart-broken right now. You were the love of her life, her soul mate. The love you two shared was such a beautiful inspiration to us, and we knew you and she loved each other more with each passing day. Thanks for showing us what true love looks like. Thanks for brightening our lives. We will not forget you.
