oh, how i love spring!!! the weather has been absolutely spectacular lately in the pac nw, and the daffodils and purple flowering trees (don't know their "real" name) are in full bloom. what a beautiful sight to behold!
which leads me to a not-so-lovely sight and topic of conversation: kandinsky's continuing struggle with diarrhea. we're doing everything we can possibly do to help our poor little kitty, but unfortunately, her stomach issues still prevail. however, we're transitioning her to canned food in hopes it'll solve the problem. fingers crossed. kandinsk is still adjusting to her new feeding schedule, since, for the past 13+ years she's always had dry food available to her day and night. now that her diet is confined to wet food, she SCREAMS her cute little kitty scream every time we go near the kitchen in hopes of being fed, and doesn't seem to understand why we don't always oblige.
lucky's birthday is fast-approaching, so i've been making plans for the weekend of march 14-16. she told me she'd like to be surprised by the events of the weekend, so you'll have to wait until after we've celebrated to find out about our adventures. it'll be big fun. that's all i can tell you for now.
speaking of birthdays, has anybody else ever forgotten how old they really are? i have, more times than i care to admit. but then again, i feel like i'm perpetually 23 years old, so i won't complain. i guess i've reached the point where age is just a number. i remember when i couldn't wait to turn 10 and then 13, then 15, then 16, then 18, and then 21...and now i just want time to slow down instead of (seemingly) speeding up.
hope you're enjoying life, laughter and love as much as we are! as always, we're sending lots of love and hugs across the miles. (oh, and note to big dawg: happy to hear you didn't start your house on fire. your story made us laugh out loud!)
